Employment
We are always accepting applications for farmhand-type employment. If interested in on-farm work, contact John Myers by email. Put “farmhand position” in the subject line.
Volunteers
If you would like to spend time on the farm helping out, but do not want the commitment of a job, we also offer volunteer opportunities. Volunteers come for one or two days a week and help out with whatever farm chores need doing that day. The actual work varies tremendously depending on the days you show up, the time of year, and the activities we are engaged in.
Often the focus is in the vegetable garden. Animal husbandry involves a greater time commitment to develop a familiarity and skill set to work with animals.
